The animated series The Life and Adventures of Juniper Lee aired on Cartoon Network in the mid-2000s. It wasn’t popular with viewers, but it wasn’t as bad as Mega’s XLR. But in this case, this series was special to me.
The plot tells about a 12-year-old girl Juniper Lee, who is given the power to protect the human and magical worlds. To help her always come faithful dog Monroe and younger brother Ray-Ray. And, of course, her own grandmother, Ama.
As a teenager, it was fun to watch Juniper’s adventures in the world of magic, get acquainted with urban fantasy, and just watch the atmosphere of the Cartoon Network channel, which was in the 2000s. Throughout all three seasons, there is no specific plot, because each episode is typical. There is a bad monster or a group of monsters plotting something bad and trying to implement it, but the young “policeman” from the world of people Tung Shuang Zen is always on guard. The series is filled with different worlds, for example, created exclusively from ice cream (in one episode of Rey-Ray, even randomly invented it and hit the spot). You can also see the Scandinavian god Thor. Or Bigfoot Lilu, very brave, kind and brave and, of course, left to live in the human world. For example, in the series dog breed Pugs, not in vain shown, because they come from China, like Pekingese.
We, the viewer, are not immediately told about how June gained the power of Teng Shuang Zen. How she tried to find a middle ground between friends and bad monsters, and how she tried to go to the camp of future astronauts. But due to her commitment to the magical world, she cannot fulfill her dreams. So she stays in town until one of her children, possibly grandchildren, becomes the next caretaker.
The series does not carry any specific plot and does not have broad fantasy, as well as deep romance. Therefore, this series will not be interesting to every viewer. It's up to you.
