Chinese cartoon about lazy sadistic bears and a corrupt woodcutter who does not care about the environment I came across this cartoon for the first time on the Carousel channel, and it seemed terribly bad to me. The cartoon is shot like the well-known classics of animation - "Tom and Jerry", "Well, Wait!", "Looney Tunes". He has little in common with these creatures. First of all, the only reason this cartoon is bad (except for the animation, which is later on) is its eerily far-fetched morality. If the cartoon is childish, then it should teach something, or just entertain. But Neighbor Bears can't entertain. But first, the plot. The logger came to the forest to cut down trees. He did nothing wrong, but... Insidious bears, although in the cartoon they are considered brave, but I consider them to be insidious, decide to interfere with the logger. The forest can be cut down and bears will be left homeless. And each episode, these bears are sophisticated in revenge for the unfortunate logger. All series have two modifications. Or the lumberjack comes up with another way to get rid of persistent and annoying bears, then the bears declassify the lumberjack, even more sophisticated, even to some extent sadistic revenge on him. Or the same thing, only the logger does not invent anything, and then just gets punched in the face for cutting down trees, in fact, nothing has been cut down.
Going back to humor, there's nothing funny. The lumberjack is pathetic. If in Tom and Jerry Jerry Jerry saved his life, and Tom got food (all according to the laws of nature), besides, all Tom’s suffering was not some nightmare, and besides, it was humorously played out, nobody really beat Tom, as they do in action films. (I think you understand). And here... Bears bluntly beat a lumberjack to get high. That's kind of sadistic. Not kind. And a children's cartoon. Unlike the same “Well, wait!” where the characters, even the wolf, are very kind, here bears leave a feeling of some kind of monsters. The logger also has a very bad character. Well, unlike Looney Tunes, where all the characters are also kind and also cheerful, the bears ... um... leave a sense of stupidity. They only think after they are trapped. In addition, only one bear thinks, the second is terribly stupid. The principle of “two for one” is promoted. It turns out that brute force and stupidity always defeat intelligence. “There is power, there is no need for intelligence,” so to speak.
I think the entertainment is too tight. Then he has to learn something. But he doesn't teach anything. The only thing I can do is take care of the environment. Yes, I missed one important nuance - a logger cuts wood for money. Big money. Though-- Why would he have to do it for free? Do not deprive someone of their home for money, do not harm the environment, otherwise... the environment will deteriorate. There will be fewer forests on the planet. The air will be dirtier. Ahn no. According to the logic of the bear-neighbors, if you spoil the environment, you will get punched in the face. This is not the best way to teach children to love nature. When children grow up a little, they will understand that cutting wood is still necessary, because without wood there will be no paper, furniture and much more. And because of such bears there will be nothing to write on, nowhere to go to sleep, put things. So bears prevent the logger from performing a socially important task.
The cartoon is also full of nonsense. Why would a logger have to cut down the whole forest? Couldn't he just walk away? The forest is not small. Do bears have such a sensitive hearing that they can detect a lumberjack for several tens of kilometers? A logger needs to attract the attention of bears, and then he wonders why they keep bothering him? Among the “peacefully coexisting in the forest animals and birds” there are no birds at all, and among the animals only bears and squirrels are shown.
Well, I will conclude my voluminous opus on the meaninglessness and absurdity of this work with a few words about its technical aspects. I have no complaints about the voiceover, the animation and drawing are stupid, more suitable for computer games, but not for a cartoon. So... What does the word "Boonie" mean? I couldn't find a translation.
Fantasies of our distributors for this reason I am not surprised, because the name turned out to be very stupid, and what else could they come up with?
