Still, you can find a way out, even if a person is on chains. I have long been looking for a film, at least a little similar to the heroine as Annie Wilkes, obsessed with the novel Misery. And I remembered one where there is the same rabid psychopath who is not herself in the performance of Jennifer Tilly, although especially I do not know her.
Here she plots a dangerous game with her husband Frank (Vincent Gallo). There is a kidnapping of the main character Anne (Daryl Hannah) after which, they take care of her and put forward their conditions for her to bear a child for them, because they themselves cannot. A similar story as in Misery. But still in “Misery” is a completely different atmosphere, there is more gloom, terrifying, terrible, developing events.
You can say that this film, at least a little like crazy Annie Wilkes, played then Katie Bates. Of course, Jennifer Tilly graced this film with her impeccable acting. I think she has other projects that might be interesting. Daryl Hannah also coped with the role of the victim quite normally. She looked great in both films "Kill Bill", and also looked great in Ridley Scott in the film "Blade Runner".
I remember the movie recently, although I watched it a long time ago. But I remembered it, and it is possible that this thriller will appeal to fans of this genre, which combines a good plot and an unpredictable ending.
