The story of the early days of Deadwood, South Dakota; woven around actual historic events with most of the main characters based on real people. Deadwood starts as a gold mining camp and gradually turns from a lawless wild-west community into an organized wild-west civilized town. The story focuses on the real-life characters Seth Bullock and Al Swearengen.
The first and second seasons are flawless. The third was hampered by the abundance of ornate monologues, which because of this lost meaning. It is amazing in this series the meticulousness of the directors. Especially the decorators. Great attention is paid to detail, which makes the film a role model. Acting at an unprecedented height. I recommend it to anyone who tolerates obscene language.
