The cartoon is entirely devoted to the formation of the relationship between Gru and his girlfriend, and the conflict, the villain, the organization and the entire spy theme are pushed far to the background, all this seems not interesting to the authors. Lacking disclosure of the theme of the good villain, as it was in the first part or in the cartoon "Megabrain", Gru became too positive, too ordinary. As for minions, someone likes them, but this “someone” is 5-7 years old. In my opinion, each time they fall into a frame from a completely separate cartoon. They are garbage, without which everything would be better. In general, I did not find anything in this cartoon. The plot is generic. The villain is absolutely ridiculous, it's kitsch. The second part is not a continuation, it is a parody of the first.
