Olgerts Salkonis is a Latvian actor and director. He was born on May 21, 1931 in Kuldiga district, studied at the Latvian State Conservatory in the Department of Drama, graduating from which in 1955, then returned to this institution, already at the Director’s Department, whose diploma he received in 1964.
