Edward Pavuls He was born on July 7, 1929 in Riga. In 1950 he graduated from the studio at the Art Academic Theater named after Y. Rainis and became an actor of this theater. Laureate of the USSR State Prize (1983 – for the role of Ozole in the TV film “The Long Road in the Dunes”); Laureate of the State Prize of the Latvian SSR (1959 – for participation in the films: “Son of a Fisherman”, “The Tale of the Latvian Arrow”, “Red Leaves”). People's Artist of the USSR (1975). People's Artist of the Latvian SSR. He died on July 14, 2006 in Riga at the age of 77.
