Her look reads mind, understanding and a slight spark of ridicule. Rashida is a passionate nature, she can do five things at once just because they are equally interesting. Rashida Lee Jones was born on February 25, 1976 in Los Angeles. She was born as a result of the mixed marriage of the famous African-American Quincy Jones and Jewish Peggy Lipton. From a very young age, parents realized that they had a gifted child. The girl read a lot, composed music and poems, sang in the choir and was fond of religions. At school she was an excellent student and took an active part in all activities. At the age of 18, Rashida became famous by writing an open letter to Tupak Shakur in defense of interracial marriage, although her parents were already 4 years divorced.
After graduation, the future actress entered Harvard to become a lawyer, but then transferred to the faculty of religion and philosophy, while attending theater courses. At the same time, the girl became very fond of music: she became the musical director of the Opportunes group, and also wrote tracks for Hasty Pudding Theatricals.
In 1997, after graduating from Harvard, the actress made her film debut in the small series The Last Don. In 200, Rashida played a cameo role in The Beasts and the Crazy, and from 2000 to 2002 played Louise Fenn in the Boston School. Rashida Jones was especially popular with the roles of Karen Philippelli in the television series The Office (2006-2011), Zoe from Love You, Dude (2009) and Marilyn Delpy from the film The Social Network (2010). /
