The family currently lives in London. Jamie is widely engaged in charity and community activities. He opened charitable Fifteen restaurants in Melbourne, Cornwall, London and Amsterdam. In these restaurants, Oliver prepares young people from disadvantaged families to work in the restaurant industry. In 2003 he was awarded the Order of Knighthood by Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain.
