Rare viewers pay attention to how the costumes look in the film. Nevertheless, the film costume industry is one of the most complex, painstaking and sometimes expensive areas of film production. The best costumes are awarded prizes, collectors chase for some outfits, and unique dresses become real exhibits of historical museums. Although the importance of the artist’s work on costumes is comparable to the work of directors and operators, they often remain in the shadows. Fashion historian Alexander Vasiliev leads the viewer through the halls of the grandiose exhibition project of the Gorky Film Studio “Time and Things”, where an exceptional collection of rarities is collected from the dresses of the late XVII century to the fracas of the early XX century. Acquaints with iconic personalities of the industry, pioneers and guardians of technologies, explains the subtleties of working with the fact, color, material and preservation of originals.

The makers of the documentary film concentrated on a community of homeless children living hand to mouth in the Moscow train station Leningradsky. Eight-year-old Sasha, eleven-year-old Kristina, thirteen-year-old Misha and ten-year-old Andrej all dream of living in a communal home.
