The drama Tokyo Bandwagon is an adaptation of a series of short stories written by Yukiya Shoji. The story revolves around a bookstore located in a Tokyo neighborhood selling supported books and its owners, the Hott family.
The main character of the series "Stories of a big family" - Ao Hota (Kazuya Kamenashi), a man of thirty, a ladies' man, a guy kind and in principle harmless. Ao is the grandson of the family patriarch, Kanachi (Sei Hiraizumi), a shopkeeper and the only one born to another mother among his siblings.
