Rolling up his sleeves, together with his granddaughter and grandmother, he tries to pull out the turnip. All this is watched by a mouse that does not think to help. She decides to scare her granddaughter, which she does well: the granddaughter rattles, the grandfather tears the top from the turnip and flies out of the house, falls on the sled and begins to ride them, as if nothing had happened.
