The documentary Perfumer (44500 Max, The Perfumer) by Finnish director and screenwriter Jari Kokko tells the story of Max Perttula, a simple rural youth who dreamed of creating his own exclusive perfumes.
Max Perttula, for as long as he can remember, has always lived with a dream of his cosmetics business. While his peers were playing football, seven-year-old Max created his first cream. He spent hours in the library studying the ingredients of cosmetics and fragrances. In 2005, at the age of 32, Max finally started his own business, which, however, two years later, almost led to his financial collapse. Despite all the difficulties, the hero of the film “Perfume” continued to fight for his dream, facing then with little success, then with complete despair, and eventually reaching international fame. close
