Is it possible to travel twice to the same memory? The filmmaker built a cabin on an isolated riverbank, just opposite his childhood island, which had disappeared under the water after the construction of a dam. The goal was to go back to that place, which had become invisible. Only the trees of the island where he’d played stood firm in the middle of the water, like the masts of a broken toy boat, so the air was the only space left, the only vestige of the past to be conquered. This film is a diary of a castaway in memories: four months of a Walden experience in a lost paradise with two hens, a small vegetable garden and a clock that stopped forever at 11.36 and 23 seconds. close

Five stories are woven into a rather absurd whirlpool of events. A young man, dancing with sheets and a variety of household appliances, is trying to arrange a metamorphosis of his life. In his transformation of the world, he is somewhat like a rooster from the second story, but the endings in situations are too different. From the third film, we learn that there is no need to transform anything when everything is already inclusive. The fourth film offers a real camel to prove that he is not a traitor, because to prove that he is not a camel is somehow awkward. Only the fifth story summarizes that everything can be changed with the help of women and sumo. close

Barcelona 1714 - a film in the genre of historical adventure drama, which starred Frances Garrido. It is partly based on the real-life tragic events of the Catalan war in the early 18th century. Its capital, Barcelona, was under prolonged siege and was eventually subjected to a brutal and bloody assault. Most of the population died, many buildings were destroyed or destroyed by fires.
The central character of the film is a young girl named Agnes, who, because of her age, desperately wants to live. At some point, she has a chance to escape the horrors of war. The ship departs from the harbor, in the near future there will be no others. Rumors of the assault frightened all the captains, and they rushed out of port. Before Agnes, who suffered with her people all the hardships of the siege, there is a difficult choice: sail on the last ship and survive or stay and almost certainly die. close

The swimming pool has played an important role throughout film history – most often as a romping ground for the sophisticated and hedonistic Dolce Vita. But it can be so much more, even sinister, as in Sunset Boulevard. In Leyenda dorada a rather unglamorous swimming pool of diminished charm forms the focal point of the story. A lazy summer’s day in the Spanish village of Montánchez, and people of all ages enjoy themselves at the outdoor pool. It is an almost utopian depiction of community, under the lofty, watchful gaze of Our Lady of Consolation. While conflicts, aggression, rivalries and animosities have a siesta, the villagers take a well-deserved break. Formally, the film draws on the tradition of New Objectivity. But unlike Robert Siodmak’s Menschen am Sonntag (1930) and its lido sequence, this is a wee summer fairy tale. close
