Married Eileen (Anne-Marie Caisso) has an extramarital affair that begins to weigh on her. She finally comes to the decision to break up with her lover and, after an ardent, unrestrained farewell in bed, break up forever. Feeling the extraordinary rise of loving caresses and the correctness of her decision, she lightly dances, left alone in the room while her partner takes a bath. But the insidious piece of soap, on which her lover slipped, did its terrible thing: the man split his head, and Eileen got into a difficult situation.
Short drama Masami Kamiyama "Soap" (2009) was awarded gold and silver prizes "Clio Awards" and received the "Golden Lotus" at the "Adfest" 2009 as the best online film. close

I give a friend a tale to read. He leaves his house, walks across the countryside, repeats the tale to himself, and arrives at the sea. And so it was that a stonecutter, who became rich, then king, then sun, then cloud, then rock, became a stonecutter once again. close

Men and women are dancing feverishly for a long time. The dance of bodies turns into a filmic trance, fleeing turns into running away, with braided motifs more
Men and women are dancing feverishly for a long time. The dance of bodies turns into a filmic trance, fleeing turns into running away, with braided motifs that get revived with every race. The men who don’t dance talk, recite, tell their own stories for and with the filmmakers. And be it through dancing or talking, it is by sharing work space and time, by making a film together, as a community, and by lovingly giving in to sharing, that the film operates politically. It even makes a processional samba in the streets of Sao Paulo look like a show of inalienable collective power. Carried away by this power, the film itself then seems to run away, to overrun its own limits. Somewhere between fable and document, improvisation and composition, anger and joy, all frontiers are burning. (Cyril Neyrat - FID 2021) close

The “Film about the Father” is a difficult genre. Andreas Goldstein, son of the GDR cultural functionary Klaus Gysi (1912–1999) has tackled this task with a complete lack of vanity, but with insistence: measured and calm, honest and intellectual, analytical and personal. He uncovers a mosaic that renounces both the teleologies of the self-styled winners of history and the simplifications of (West) German Oscar nominees. This film is not about the lives of others, but about his own life. Not about yesterday, about today, too. close
