The correct translation of the film is "Gifted." There's no word for "criminal." The film tells the story of two gifted brothers of musical talent. Senior Nikki Fontaine gave high hopes as a pianist but became interested in billiards. Accidentally killed in a fight man served two years in prison came out and spent all the time in bars and billiards, spitting on the career of a musician. The younger Eddie played the violin perfectly. He was even invited to a competition in Moscow when he was still in school. It is tedious and detailed about their lives of familiar friends. A friend of the guy Nikki killed in the fight tracks him down to kill him. That's when it turns out that it wasn't Nicky but Eddie who committed the murder in the pool room. He was in such a fit of rage that he remembered nothing and Nikki took the blame. All this terrible story about real events. close

Unpredictably, as most of my life’s key events have been, for a period of several years of late sixties and early seventies, I had the fortune to spend some time, mostly during the summers, with Jackie Kennedy’s and her sister Lee Radziwill’s families and children. Cinema was an integral, inseparable, as a matter of fact, a key part of our friendship. The time was still very close to the untimely, tragic death of John F. Kennedy. Peter Beard, who was at that time tutoring John Jr. and Caroline in art history, suggested to Jackie that I was the man to introduce the children to cinema. Jackie said yes. And that’s how it all began close
