At the festival in La Rochelle, they once decided to arrange a retrospective of films with the participation of Juliette Binoche, and the actress, having previously revised these paintings, involuntarily overestimated her work. The top, in her opinion, was the film "Three colors: blue", after it (downward), "Lovers with Pont-Nef" and "Rendez-vous". This picture, created by the French director Andre Teshine in 1985, surprised Juliette herself with depth, demanding for her game: before the picture seemed to her passing work.
Well, after this assessment, the film is worth watching. Its plot, at first glance, is unpretentious: in Paris, dreaming of a career as an actress, a young provincial Nina comes. In the capital, she meets a young actor who hopes to find himself and a director who will reveal all his abilities. When the director is found, a tragic triangle forms: Nina will be fascinated by Kanten, and Polo will mindlessly fall in love with Nina. close

The first episode was aired on 8 December 1985 and since then new episodes have been broadcast weekly. Its current timeslot on Das Erste is Sundays at 18:50. Prior of the start of the show, the timeslot was switched to Sunday evening but the Thursday remained the day the events usually take place as the show shall feature the daily life routine of the protagonists on a working day. Exceptions are the so-called holiday episodes that take place on Sunday, such as for Christmas and Easter and also on important election days.
Setting the pace for other soap operas in Germany, the first episodes were met with mostly bad reviews. However, Lindenstraße soon became one of the most successful shows on German TV. close

“No one really knows me; no one knows the doubts, hopes, visions that I have,” Chagall once said. The world that comes to life on the canvases of one of the most famous representatives of the artistic avant-garde of the XX century openly turns to another reality. Chagall as a harbinger of a better reality, in which all old grief is overcome by happiness flying on the wings of love. The artist, born near Vitebsk, and later emigrated to France, carried joy in his soul, in his work and transmits it to us - the audience. Anyone who tries to explain these vibrant Chagall color universes runs the risk of destroying the mystery from which they originate and with which the artist played. Director Kim Evans approaches this aura very carefully and with caution. He follows the artist’s footsteps carefully, through his autobiography, through his studio in France and through his paintings. close
