Nello Tarth is a poor but happy orphan who lives with his grandfather Jehan in a little village nearby Antwerp. The 1967 Soviet-Mongolian film Exodus is a historical and adventure film that tells about the events of the end of the Civil War, when hostilities between supporters of Soviet power and the remnants of the white movement took place even in Mongolia. The production of the picture was carried out jointly by Anatoly Bobrovsky, known for the films “The Return of St. Luke”, “The Black Prince”, and the Mongolian director Zhamyangiin Buntar, who shot the films “The Year of the eclipse of the Sun” and “The Leader of the White Feather”. Since the shooting was conducted in Mongolia, the picture is replete with picturesque natural views and characteristic exoticism.
