American actor Brandon Lee (Brandon Lee) was born on February 1, 1965 in Oakland, California in the family of a talented actor and outstanding martial artist Bruce Lee. When Brandon was three months old, the family moved to Los Angeles. It was a difficult time for the family because the father was out of work, there were no film invitations and the family was forced to return to Hong Kong. It was 1965.
Brendon spent his childhood in Hong Kong, he began playing sports from a young age. The boy attended the same school where his father attended. The popularity of his father began to grow rapidly, and in college, Brandon began to have problems. While studying at school, the future actor has already performed on theatrical stages.
After graduating from school, the young man entered Boston Emerson College to study acting. An aggressive guy, withdrawn, constantly tense, dressed in a denim suit with a bandana on his head – this is how Brendon’s collegemates remembered.
Later, the actor entered the New York Institute Lee Strasberg in order to continue his studies. As a student, Brandon played guitar and sang his own songs. In 1985, actor Brandon Lee decided to conquer Hollywood.
In Hollywood, the producers accepted the actor as the son of Bruce Lee, completely disregarding his personal merits. In 1985, the actor starred in the film “Pulp Killer”, and in 1986 – in the film “Kung Fu: Film Version”, but the result of these films, the actor was dissatisfied.
In 1987, Brandon was cast in the CBS Summer Playhouse series, which ran until 1989.
1989 was a very difficult year for the actor: there were no signed contracts to shoot in the film, the robbery at Lee’s house also negatively affected his mood. During the arrest of the thief, the actor offered fierce resistance and punished the robber.
After the failure in Hollywood, Brandon began a prolonged depression. In 1990, the actor was offered the main role in the film “Operation Laser”, directed by B.J. Davis, who tried to help the actor get rid of depression. Brandon Lee's been talked about again.
