Trains travel through the night without stopping. The clatter of the carriages quickly disappears, along with the wail of the locomotive. The people at the station are all asleep. But why are they so exhausted ? And what are they waiting for? Set inside an isolated train depot, The Train Station is one of Sergei Loznitsa's most haunting films. It is also one of his most pointed social critiques. In this film, we are brought to a remote train station deep in the Russian woods. It's nighttime. In the distance, we hear the clatter of locomotives. The station, a small wooden building, sits silently, surrounded only by snow and train tracks. close

And, if the meteor does break into smaller pieces, where will they land, and will that create any political problems for the President? A subplot has Gwen torn between her two loves, Matt and Ben. Is a sequel in the works? close

According to the idea of the director and screenwriter of the comedy “Hypnosis” Grigory Mikhailovich of Constantinople, the main character performed by Marat Basharova decided that he was an almighty hypnotist, and, oddly enough, autosuggestion worked. But could anyone believe that it was only with the help of a close look and slow hand movements that a large casino could be ruined?
Now the main character faces an unsolvable question - where to go with a huge amount of money, especially when you have become an all-powerful hypnotist? Especially now that every beauty wants to be with him! Suddenly, the hero meets her – a girl in a strange robe, unearthly, innocent and naive, who deserves to become fate itself. close

Aleksander Sokurov brings the treasures of the Hermitage back into the light by making films about artists and their paintings. He has chosen the painter Hubert Robert, who spent a long time in Italy, and whose preference was for creating ancient ruined landscapes and naturalistic portrayals of times past. He was successful with the wealthy, who bought his works from him. The camera pans across the paintings while Sokurov speaks of a happy era, when the artist was at one with the spirit of the times, and agreed with the taste of his clients. Just how far removed from us this is, is shown by pictures of a "Nô" performance which are inter-cut on the screen. No words are necessary to describe what everybody knows today. close

The story is told on behalf of a college student eight years after the events described. Too early, and therefore called “strawberry” (according to the story, there is once every 8-10 years), in the spring of 1968 in the student town where the main character of the story lives, a mysterious killer maniac appears. He kills girls without any apparent motive or system under the cover of the constant fog this spring.
Since neither the victims nor their killers are found next to the victims, and because of the similarity of the crimes with the crimes of the most famous and mysterious maniac-killer Jack the Ripper, the criminal is given the nickname “Jump Jack”. Killings stop when students are sent on vacation early, and early spring is replaced by winter. Eight years later, and again with the start of the strawberry spring, a similar murder occurs. A girl is killed and dismembered, and the protagonist does not remember where he was or what he did last night. He is afraid to look into the trunk of his car. close
