The painting “Lonely under contract” is the love story of rock star Vyacheslav Lebedev and Lily Fialko. The main role was played by actor Vaclav Verhol.
Eighteen-year-old Lilya comes home from the United States of America, where she lived for a year on an exchange, and in her hometown she is waiting for changes. The beloved mother meets a taxi driver who is much younger than her, and the younger sister is experiencing adolescence and falling in love with the leader of the famous young rock band Heart of the City Vyacheslav. By chance, Lilya and Glory fell in love with each other. But the young couple has to face obstacles: the young man must comply with the terms of the contract, under which he has no right to privacy.
Only for her
Once at the concert of Vyacheslav, Lilya stands in the crowd of his fans. She is the only one contemplating what is happening in silence, not succumbing to the moods of crazy fans. In the meantime, Glory is probably singing for her alone. Doubts disappear when the musician says at the end of the song: “Listen, Lilya!” This is followed by a beautiful evening, which the lovers spend together, enjoying each other. In the morning, Lila has to leave the luxurious room of Glory, which throws a tantrum his manager Ivan. A musician cannot have any personal life for a year or two, otherwise the whole business built on the adoration of fans will go downhill.
The right to choose
Ivan’s fears are justified when photos of Lily and Vyacheslav appear in the press the next day. Someone captured their every move – a walk through the night city, dinner in a Japanese restaurant, and a kiss on the hotel balcony. The band's musicians are shocked: their tour is now clearly not going to take place. To get out of the delicate situation, it was decided to publicly present Glory as a victim of deception and declare that he actually has no girlfriend. Meanwhile, Lilya enters the hotel under the guise of a maid: she needs to tell her beloved that she has nothing to do with the press reports - everything happened through the fault of her chatty younger sister. She is given five minutes to explain herself to Slava, and he has the right to choose between career and love. close

A romantic story unfolding in a beautiful village by the sea. The protagonists are 14-year-old Fedor and 18-year-old Nyurka. Fedor has long been interested in the girl, but was too shy to talk to her. He is an ordinary boy who enjoys riding his bike, while Nyurka is almost an actress. Her favorite book is 'Angelique and the King', a novel that defines the way she looks at life. She has often imagined being cast in the title role in a film. When she becomes close friends with Fedor, she assigns him a part from the novel as well. A film showing that love has no age. True feelings can change people and make them grow up. And love is a magical and pure feeling that can awaken courage in hearts. close

Maidan Massacre is an investigative documentary into the shootings which occurred on February 20th, 2014, when nearly 50 people were gunned down on the streets of Kyiv's Independence square. The massacre was the result of a massive three month long protest against the former Government of Viktor Yanukovich and his decision to reject a trade deal with the EU. Although no thorough investigation had been conducted, the blame was immediately placed on the officers who served under Yanukovich. This program investigates the scene of the crime, interviewing those who were there when the shootings occurred, and seeks to answer the questions as to who really was shooting that day on Kyiv's Independence square - a place known to the people of Ukraine, as Maidan.—John Beck Hofmann close
