First and foremost, the film was positioned as a film adaptation of Doom games. In the end, he has nothing to do with these games, because their canon and even visual are simply canceled. That is, between filmmakers and viewers there was a certain agreement on trust, the authors unilaterally terminated it, so the score is 1 point. And it can't be any other. There were demons in Douma on Mars. Not that it means much to me personally, but there are no demons – no Douma, it’s simple. Make another movie and don’t use someone else’s brand name.
Otherwise, this is just an American action movie of its time with a standard set of laid nits. Yes, there are some advantages: it is not thrash, has the right balance of cruelty and will be interesting to children (yes, I do not take age ratings seriously at all). This is a completely neutral generic film, there is nothing to say about such reviews. It's not terrible, but it remembers absolutely nothing except the monster on wheels and that scene.
