Too much understatement... That’s what I thought after watching the movie. Too many inconsistencies, unfinished thoughts, ideas.
There are positives in the film. An intriguing beginning forces the viewer to watch the film to the end. The first half (maybe even a third of the viewing) is very tense. The viewer is worried about the heroes, trying to understand the intrigues and intricate plot lines. But on the second half of the film, the creators did not want to work as well as on the first. All hopes to understand what was dispelled, and they were not destined to come true.
Why is there such a situation in the world? Why did the main American sectarian leave them alone, or she did not leave them at all?
Play actors at an average level, although a film of this genre is more to be expected. Although Melanie Thierry in the title role did not like and even annoyed most of the time.
The film ends with nothing. This can not even be called an open finale, because the film seems to just stop, although it is still clear that the director tried to create the appearance of a logical conclusion.
Conclusion, "Babylon N.E." is a medium action movie that will help pass one of the evenings. The masterpiece of cinema does not pull, but will not sleep.
