An excellent athlete, and David was engaged in athletics, gymnastics, rock climbing and martial arts, at 15 years old he leaves school to fully devote himself to improving his physical abilities. Moving to the suburbs of Paris Liss, he meets a group of like-minded people, which forms a group of extreme sports fans “Yamakashi”, with which he will be inextricably linked for the next 8 years.
In the army, David Bell's abilities improve, he becomes the champion of his regiment in high-speed rope lasagne and the champion of the city of Eson to overcome the obstacle course. However, an independent spirit and desire for freedom did not allow David Bell to continue his service in the army or follow in the footsteps of his father and grandfather, becoming a firefighter.

David Belle initiated the popularization of parkour and in 1979 made several videos about this fascinating and spectacular discipline. Of course, the main character and performer of all the tricks was him. The popularity of these clips was huge and David was invited to television and movies. At first, these were small short films, but then he starred in the films “Fatal Woman” (2002), “Divine Intervention” (2002), “13th District” (2004), “Babylon N.E.” (2008) and in the continuation of the 13th District.
