- Where's the intrigue? Sudden plot twist? Where is the mystery in the identity of one of the characters? And the climax, the moment of truth when that mystery is solved, the turn of events when the situation changes in the blink of an eye.
- Find the truth in your story and you won’t need all these tricks.
(Star Trek Voyager)
So, it is the truth in this cartoon that is not found. The tricks were, but sluggish, without talent. I barely forced myself to look into it. Watched 3 days, fell asleep 2 times. Here it seems that in the frame is not only shooting, there are a lot of people to talk about, for the brother topic, the anti-hero senator several times pleasantly surprised that he is not so bad. But there is a void in everything that is difficult to define and describe. No soul done. Most likely, the script was created not by the talent of one person, but at the business table at a meeting – people gathered, cast characters, ideas, twisted among themselves. You end up disassembling the pieces, like all the details are in place, and everything together was not good for anything. Characters do not fascinate, they all made as much as possible features of individuality, but when viewing the thought “Well, why should I worry about them?”, they remain completely strangers. Apparently, those who have played games, these characters are familiar, but we have a viewer from the outside, he looks and understands that for him all this is left behind the scenes. Who's this Mexican girl with her daughter? What kind of company, what kind of general, what kind of dude died in front of a computer? What did the scientists dig up before the credits? All this passed by me, but I realized that evil was not destroyed again. A typical Evil resident effect, which is laughed at, and for which I have in particular peddled films with Mila. Here, these zombies are wet, the bases are blown up one after another, the bosses are demolished, and they do not end and every time somewhere else there is another base and there is another boss.
And the monster... I haven’t seen such a ridiculous monster in a long time.
It is difficult to know exactly where the degeneration is. Writers' circles, apparently.
