The fears, alas, were justified. Nothing to do with the above-mentioned Russian film "Hangover" (the original title of the film) is not — intellectual humor here and there was not lying. This is a typical American comedy with typical American humor “below the belt”. Most jokes revolve around sex and toilets. However, it’s not the worst thing to see in a movie – after all, I like the first “Police Academy”, and there are much more whiplashy jokes on a sexual topic. The second problem is that the film turned out to be really “hangover” – the characters constantly stop, suffer from headaches, dull with painful facial expressions and repeat something like: “And we should have been so drunk!” And the drive is completely lost.
In addition, some jokes just went wrong in every sense. Here's a scene with a baby at a table - what's the point? Even the heroes of the film skewed from such “humor”. The curvature of the mafia Chinese is beyond the edge of thrash.
Pretty bad, though. At least there's Mike Tyson and, most importantly, his tame tiger (the real one!). There are also good jokes: Alan’s attempts to establish a dialogue with a mysterious Asian from the trunk, “a report from the vineyards” (“Get this damn tractor started already!”), Alan’s catchphrase (“It’s a classic!”), and you can laugh in a couple of episodes. Well, in general - what else to expect from the American comedy about a bachelor party in Vegas?
Result: American male comedy. That says it all. A spectacle from the category of "beer will go." In a fun company, you can watch, and so there are better and more fun movies. 6 out of 10
