The rink on mastery This is one of those films that, on the one hand, conquer with its naivety and beauty, and on the other hand, amaze with how clumsy the work itself is done. But all in order.
I noticed in the film a mind-blowing number of blunders of all sorts. Here are some of them:
The horse races along the fence with a taxi. When the taxi overtakes her, our heroes continue to follow her in the rear window of the car, and in the next frame the horse turns away from the fence, but at the same time it is on a par with the car (became caught up).
When Laila went to hang herself a second time, the nurse found an empty loop. The knot of such a loop does not allow it to be removed from the neck without untying, that is, she untied it, removed it and tied it again for beauty.
And the suicide situation itself... I'm no expert, but I'm fond of this kind of information, and as far as I know, suicide losers fall into two groups: those who follow through and those who no longer try to take their own lives. Those who tried it a second time and changed their mind, I have not met anywhere in the literature.
Further, I can understand the dissolute psychiatrist, who accepted a new patient of the patient except for love, but that she settled two patients of different sexes in the same room I did not appreciate.
In addition, when they were already lying in bed in the ward, their legs corresponded to the pose of “both on their back”, so no, Lyla again lay on Nick’s shoulder.
But these are only blunders, in the end, there are a lot of them and in “Reaching to Heaven” all with the same Thiel Schweiger, and the film is in 7th place so far. Here you can note the disgusting installation. Perhaps some inquisitive viewers noticed that the actors are inconclusive, and sometimes even funny in some scenes. It's not about bad play, it's about editing. Also, the most important scenes are poorly mounted.
What else is negative? That's my personal opinion, but I'll say it anyway. Well, there shouldn't be a melodrama protagonist like that. The whole film he was constantly setting everyone up (including himself), and in the end he suddenly saw, well, I don’t believe in such revelations. “Yes, this is a classic of the genre!” – you will say, but in other paintings with such a theme in the main character from the very beginning, a grain of nobility is visible, here I did not catch a hint of this. You could play the hero softer, even the text would not have to change.
But all my reproaches are covered with more than stunning Johanna Vocalek, the very idea (highlight) of the film. Also pleased with the music, although probably the real connoisseurs of a good soundtrack will spit me out, but don’t charge me, I liked it, and everything is here.
P.S. I associate a score of 8 with a score of 5, but in this case it is more like 4+.
P. P.S. This is my first review, so don’t judge me harshly.
