The Bogatyr and the Snake are friends? Really? Fairy tales and especially epics are not just fun for children, they are a way to preserve history in the pre-literate period. It was impossible and uninteresting to remember and retell generations that such and such a prince in such and such a year repulsed the attack of such and such nomads. Instead, the story was decorated to an extremely romanticized state, but it gave children an example of what to do and not to do, developed in their minds a love of work and a willingness to defend their land. The Gorynych snake is not just some dragon, it is a story about the invasion of the Mongols, who are best known as barbarians, but even then had nuclear weapons captured in China. This is the image of something that breathes fire. Snake Gorynych is by definition an enemy of Russia, this is his idea, and the hero can not be friends with him. This cartoon (like all the rest of the garbage from the studio Melnitsa) serves to destroy Russian culture. Yes, it sounds loud, but this is what happens when you break the cultural code, forget fairy tales, national symbols, and eventually the language and the nation itself. Not all at once, but drop by drop. And this, of course, does not mean that we have a conspiracy here, just sit in the studio directors who have long been on everything, including fairy tales and children. They're just making money.
