I decided to watch the movie without reading the annotation, so the beginning was a bit shocking. Not for long. I decided to watch the movie without reading the annotation, so the beginning was a bit shocking. Not for long. I naively decided that the film would be about someone like Joker, a strange man who was harmed by a bad upbringing (or lack thereof). It turned out to be a story from the series "I-Sam", "My name is Khan", etc. The film is quite moving, although shot with some exaggerations. The actress playing Ulyana is great. But closer to the middle of the film, something begins to get confusing. A person with violations of such a plan cannot reasonably reason. It just so happens that I have met many people in my life with mental disorders (and various diagnoses), and there will not be a person with mental retardation talking about love and high matters. The role of the writer is not quite clear (did he feel anything or look for a plot for the book?). And the sister behaves strangely (if Ulyana interfered with her, she could take her to a boarding school, as their mothers once suggested). Inconsistencies, but perfect films almost never happen.
