No remake Briefly about the plot. John Smith pretends to be a civil engineer, but he's actually a hit man. Jane Smith only pretends to be a severe sysadmin, in fact, she is also a hired killer. In addition, John and Jane are a married couple, a fairly strong unit of bourgeois society. At the same time, the husband does not know about the alter ego of the wife, just as she does not suspect what her betrothed is doing. The plot is easy to guess. As it is not difficult to guess, in the film they will first feel the crisis of relations, then they will “order” each other, then they will rebel against everyone and they will again be covered with a wave of love.
Despite the predictability of the plot twists, watching the film is extremely pleasant. The director does not rely on compliance with the genre of action, but on funny scenes and the romantic component of the film. As a result, we get an interesting movie for family viewing (the authors specially cut the bed scenes). Personally, as an active FSB officer, I liked the spy component of the film very much: explosions, chases, shootouts, as well as conducting operational-search activities - everything is done perfectly and you can even find something new.
Let me remind you: the authors specifically filled the film with humor. At the same time, humor does not fall below the belt, does not blacken or repeat itself, as, for example, in most Negro comedies. Although I personally do not care about the chastity of humor - I laugh at vulgar jokes (if, of course, they are funny).
Enjoying the work of professionals is always a pleasure. "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" was made by the knowledgeable, and translated by fools - the translators again lost a lot of jokes and could not cope with simple words. Are "papers" really "documents"? Translators, of course, do not care where "papers" and "documents"; I feel that they do not even care where a man and where a woman.
The Pitts played the Smiths. More precisely, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, who during the filming of the film took her husband away from Jennifer Aniston. Curiously, Aniston went to Vince Vaughn, who in Mr. and Mrs. Smith played a friend and colleague of the main character. Love broke out on the set and greatly helped the actors play a couple in love. The result of this inadvertently flared feeling is a great film and two children together. (Affleck and Lopez on note.)
In short, the movie is beautiful to watch for everyone. This is not Litvinova with his space.
