The main character loses a child, breaks up with her husband and goes far to the coast, where she meets a young lighthouse keeper. And it seems that everything is fine - but here begins the shaped devil, and even such that the heroine begins to literally go crazy.
“Romantic” scenes are godlessly drawn out, as befits a “lady” film. So much so that it is very difficult not to fall asleep or switch to something else. The plot moves are quite template, that is, unpredictability seems to be planned, but for a sophisticated viewer everything quickly becomes clear. The only thing that really made me look at the screen is the behavior of the main character after a failed attempt on her. I would not be surprised if Demi Moore herself came up with this plot twist - quite in the spirit of her heroines and does not look like a typical thriller heroine. However, this also confirms the essence of Half World - the film as if says: "You should not fight in hysterics, dear ladies, but do this." Calling the police would be smarter.
Bottom line: a romantic-educational mystical thriller strictly for a female audience.
