Turning people's heads is fun. But how does the film fool its viewers...
I wouldn’t say this movie is a masterpiece. It is just a masterpiece, but apart from a great plot there is nothing. Well, for example, the second scene in the film, in which the hero of Michael J. Fox is angry at fate, just in this scene before us appears, the so-called “American leprechaun”. He can be called many different things, but in the end, he’s just a magician. The film is a bit silly: the theme is about the city of lawyers, about a mad man with dynamite, they are of course interesting, but still, somehow strange to look at it. It was a childish movie, though not without violence. The ending was certainly disappointing. Anyone who has watched to the end should understand that the film is about nothing, it is just a story about how to learn to tell the truth, despite the events, and who you say it to. But the main idea of the film is that there is always an alternative choice, not only “right” or “left”, there is another way, which chose the main character of the film, a successful artist, but his father tries to make a copy of it. After his adventures, he realizes that all his life he lived wrong, but in the end he corrected and that is the main thing. As I said, the film is not outstanding, which stands out only one:
The script was great. There is a great plot, and many plot twists that make all with great interest to follow the film, but in the end it all fades and loses its value before the inconspicuous ending. The ball, I think, played better than any actor in this film, he was the main character here.
As a result, it turned out quite normal film, which drags the plot, but nothing else stands out.
