5, but this is more of a positive review. I decided to revise Hot Heads the other day, and I realized that it is difficult to put a “correct” assessment, even a subjective one. The fact is that this is one of those films that you need to see on time, at the right age. About the age when the clowns in the circus are still funny.
This is a classic farcical comedy, with a number of sketches and characters inscribed in the plot, parodying action films like Top Gun or Rambo. Every half-minute there is a gag, an epic nonsense that the characters do not notice, save pokerfaces and continue their pathetic speeches. Some moments and recognizable images of some characters are really funny, even if you’re in your 30s. But overall the revision was boring, so the score is 5. At age 14, there would be a score of 7. Watch movies on time!
