Probably the best and most "complete" film about the problem of fathers and children A great family comedy, somewhat instructive, about 3 generations of fathers and children: Beautiful humor, grown-up, sarcastic. Some children will also enjoy the film.
Many people don’t know what they like about this movie. They say, "Just like it." And it is about the classic problem of fathers and children. This is something that affects all generations and almost all ages. Here everyone can find something about themselves, because there are many types. And someone, on the contrary, will see what he did not have in his life.
The synopsis for this film on the Kinopoisk (and many other places) is not entirely correct. It seems like a movie about a family. But it's not. It equally shows the relationship between the families of several mature brothers / sisters, the family of their old parents, and even the beginning future family. The authors specifically show as many as 3 generations to make the viewer look for analogies between them, and this is interesting.
In addition to
the problems of upbringing and family communication, here are shown
the problems of "middle age", the problem of marital loneliness, the burning of all life in adventures, and, probably, some other problems of a mature person that I could not notice.
If the global morality of the film, then as befits in family comedies, this movie teaches you to be kind and tolerant of your loved ones (parents, children, brothers), no matter how, roughly speaking, “freaks” they are. They say, "Not without a freak in the family." But in fact, the “freak” is not alone, each has its own cockroaches.
The cast is wonderful! It’s really cool to see young artists without wrinkles when you know what they look like years later, what roles they’ve had, and some of them are dead. This comparison is also an interesting point during the viewing. It was particularly interesting to watch Keanu Reeves because it’s probably the youngest role I’ve ever seen.
