TV movie Inessa Selezneva "Day Train", 1976. It turned out to be a really high-quality melodrama, who loved to shoot in those days on the demand of the intelligent public, who watched these films with pleasure. Why intelligent? Yes, because the characters are representatives of this stratum, they express themselves in difficult language, demonstrating both reading and even their thoughts sometimes. But the problems of the personal plan of people and then were, and to this day have not gone away, so the film has not lost its human relevance. Two friends, one of whom lives in Moscow, and the other in Leningrad, decided to introduce their already very old son and daughter, hoping that they will like each other and, as you know, perhaps create a family, because they have long been time to start a family, and they continue to live with their mothers. In the process of acquaintance and some joint pastime, it turns out that, most likely, this will not happen, the alluring gaiety, politeness and some bravado of Igor (Valentin Gaft) flies, exposing, first of all, his dissatisfaction with himself, and, perhaps, envy of an old friend, what he saw does not inspire Vera (Margarita Terekhova). Igor changes his plans to go by night train, changing the ticket for the day, Vera still decides to hold it. What will happen next, no one knows, their views - her following the departing train, his towards the departing and then stopped Faith - may raise an easy hope for a possible meeting in the future, or it may not be. The film was really good, but still to the masterpieces I would not take it.
