Often, the descendants of famous actors and directors follow in the footsteps of their parents, so the son of Nino Manfredi Luca Manfredi went to the cinema, but not as actors, but as directors. I started with movies, but then I switched to TV movies and TV series, one of which I wrote about here. Today I watched one of his first films, Grazie di tutto (1999). A couple of quite wealthy people Pierre Paolo (Massimo Gini) and Francesca (Nancy Brilly) - he writes detective novels, she is engaged in household work, but from the rich - buys a house in the village, their relationship is in crisis. There, they establish good neighborly relations with neighbors, whose son works as a doctor in Africa, and the mother is very worried that she has not seen her son for two years, he was supposed to come, but he was not released. Pierre Paolo gave the idea that they go there, they do not know with whom to leave their elderly parents, Francesca offers to take them to her for a couple of weeks. They both had no idea what they were getting into. The neighbors in Africa are being kidnapped. And here for Pierre Paolo and Francesca come "fun" days. In principle, the comedy is not much different from many Italian comedies, but there is something I lacked in it, despite the presence of Nino Manfredi himself in the role of his elderly father. Although this comedy, and not the most successful, but you can watch.
