The main character flared up almost immediately, and he, a wonderful Gluzsky, carelessly awakened the volcano in her soul (and for a long time - with various inconclusive distractions - understanding his feelings, which the director managed to convey well), nailed only to the end of the second series, because the men are, of course, thick-skinned. He and she are old-fashioned and unselfish.
Characters from today's view are sometimes ridiculous (the courtesy of the main character's daughter is already quite strange), as are the circumstances of their existence. Other life in Brezhnev stagnation they do not know, and they do not need - most of the life is poor, but not mean, and therefore nostalgia. A quiet touching Soviet film from the 70s, well conveying the specifics of those years. A bright episode with the main character - her slalom with obstacles on the balconies, from the signs of time you can distinguish luck with undiluted sour cream, and from the characters in the background - always busy with the work of the chief of the main character.
