Viktor Titov was born on March 27, 1939 in Stepanakert (then the USSR, now Armenia). He worked in radio and television. In 1968, Viktor Titov graduated from the directorial faculty of the All-Union State Institute of Cinematography, where his mentors were Mikhail Romm and Alexander Stolper. In 1968, Viktor Titov graduated from the directorial faculty of the All-Union State Institute of Cinematography, where his mentors were Mikhail Romm and Alexander Stolper. In 1967, he starred in the military drama Revenge. Titov’s directorial debut was the film “The Soldier and the Queen”, his first full-length film, “Riding in the tram Ilf and Petrov”, he put on television in 1971 according to his own script. Then, in 1973, Viktor Titov starred in the film “The Coast” and directed the film “Every Day of Dr. Kalinnikova”. The great love of the audience was won by the magnificent eccentric comedy "Hello, I am your aunt!", in which the director not only gathered beautiful actors - Armen Dzhigarkhanyan, Mikhail Kozakov, Valentin Gaft, Tatiana Vasilyeva, but also opened, in fact, the talent of Alexander Kalyagin for a wide audience. In 1988, he made the documentary Dinara, dedicated to the memory of director Dinara Asanova. Among other interesting works of Victor Titov - "Vacation at his own expense", "Vaska", "Life of Klim Samgin". In 1994, the director filmed the best-selling action movie "Russian Transit" - Valery Sidikhin starred in the title role, and in 1999 the comedy film "Kadril" with a bright acting quartet - Stanislav Lyubshin, Lyubov Polishchuk, Oleg Tabakov and Valentina Telichkina came out. But his new film, the television series "House of Hope", Viktor Titov did not have time to shoot - the director died on August 4, 2000.
