British detective series "Murder in the suburbs" (2004-2005), intended, as I understand it, more for a female audience. The tandem of two female police officers is, by the way, quite successfully solving murders in a seemingly prosperous neighborhood populated by members of the middle class, and in some cases quite rich, who, as it turns out, also commit murders. Detective Inspector Kate Usherst is played by the famous (in the circles of fans of British series, for example, the series “Dr. Martin”) Caroline Katz, her partner Emma Scribbins is played by Lisa Faulkner, their boss Sullivan is played by Jeremy Sheffield. Despite the genre, the series is shot with a fair amount of irony and places of satire both for representatives of this profession and for the British in general, this is what they are famous for quite often, which is why the series does not leave a heavy impression, although it seems that the crimes there are really serious. It is true that the dead are sometimes not only innocent victims, but also people who themselves deserve punishment, some as criminals, some just as bad people, only justice did not get to them. The main characters sometimes want to even sympathize, because in their personal life they are not arranged and quite complex at times on this occasion, but they do not have enough time and skills for its device, unlike the ability to solve crimes. In addition to the above, we will see other famous actors there, so thanks to this, we can note a good level of acting.
Murder in Suburbia was a British detective drama that ran for two series in 2004 and 2005. Detective Inspector Kate Ashurst, a graduate of a posh girls' academy, has a sharp, analytical mind; her working-class partner, Detective Sergeant Emma Scribbins, relies on her instincts. Together this sassy, sexy investigative team uncovers the dark urges behind suburban Middleford's placid façade.
