I only had enough for the first season. So I only appreciated him. Of course, it's more of a crime drama, there's not much from a detective. The actors are good. But! How tediously the action continues, these endless long flashbacks, they are, of course, necessary to understand the situation - but not in such quantity and not so long, in fact, mussels are the same. The hero of Bill Pullman is shown somehow indistinctly - why do we need such details of his personal life with his ex-wife and sado-maso fun with his mistress? To increase timekeeping or to show that nothing human is alien to him? These scenes do not reveal or deepen the character of Detective Harry Ambrose. And the whole story with the heroine of Jessica Biel is generally implausible from the word "at all." There's no question of Bill's game, but there's a lot of her character. But the authors of the series never revealed her true face, except that she turned from a young sinner suddenly into a respectable mother of the family - an impulsive killer. The whole plot is pulled by the ears and revolves around the slurred and poorly shown amnesia of the main character and the gradual return of memory to her. And yet, here are at least a couple of questions I have: why the detectives never had doubts - where and how seriously ill sister Cora disappeared? Why did they not properly check the version of the parents about their murdered son, saying that they did not know the main character? And a bunch of blunders and inconsistencies. And like the apogee of this nonsense - the finale, where we are shown "how it really happened." Isn't it unexpected? And it ends with Cora Tanetti being sent to a mental institution for 2 years instead of 30 years in prison. In fact, a normal investigation as such did not work, and the relatively successful end of this story can be attributed only to the gradually returning memory of the main character (like you can not help yourself - no one will help) and the belief of the detective in her innocence. Bravo! And, alas, with all due respect to the creators of the series and actors, I did not leave the taste of domestic serial soap throughout it.
