Scott Cohen, an American film actor, was born on December 19, 1964 in the Bronx (USA) in a large family of jazz musician and teacher. The father’s genes made themselves felt very early: little Scott from a young age raved about music, having a wonderful musical ear, tried to compose songs on his own in his childhood. Scott Cohen performs jazz compositions on the piano.
After graduating from high school, Scott chose a future that would be inextricably linked to creativity. He attended New York State University to study as a professional musician. However, for unknown reasons, Scott decided to radically change his plans and change his music career to the profession of a clown.
The young man joined the theater troupe and left New York. After returning from the tour, he entered the Acting Studio. For the young man came difficult years: to survive, the student did not disdain any work. He was a newspaper deliverer, a waiter in a cafe and still fondly remembers those years when he once served coffee to star actor Al Pacino.
Scott Cohen's first appearance in a big movie was in 1990, when he starred in Jacob's Staircase directed by Adrian Lyne. The actor was also involved in several Broadway productions. Seven long and tense years, Cohen fought for the right to star in the TV series “Law and Order” and got his way: the actor received an invitation to shoot in the trilogy “Justice in Los Angeles”, perfectly coping with his role.
In America, Scott Cohen is better known as an actor, starring in TV series, including “The Last Laugh”, “The Tenth Kingdom”, “The Silent Witness” and others.
In 2008, the series “Cashmere Mafia” with the participation of Cohen was released, as well as the series “Return of Jezebel James” in the same year.
In 2009, the actor starred in the film “Iron Cross”. It was followed by a role in the film 17 Photos of Isabel, which was also shot in 2009. /
