I went to the movie just to kill time (I had to spend 3 hours somewhere in a foreign city). In any other case, it would not be tempted. The rating is too low, and I am not a fan of adventure fairy tales. Maybe it was because of low expectations and the impression was good. I really liked the first half so much. Nice start, the squirrel situation taking place on the grounds of the doctor's estate. And the animals are cute, and the children, and the doctor himself is funny, and the bundle is interesting. Only then did he begin to grow up. Events in the palace seemed far-fetched: everything is very bad, then very good, then funny, then stupid. And then... quite a bit, some typical American chips with toilet details. The finale, as in all fairy tales, of course, expect. But that's a fairy tale. I think the kids will love it (I didn’t have my daughter). That's why I'm putting a solid, well-deserved eight. Special plus for Robert Downey Jr., I love him for the cool Sherlock. I'm a little old.
