Well, here I am, finally, and watched the so-lauded Tarantine film “Once upon a time ... in Hollywood”. It is a filmmaker or craft, since neither drama, comedy, nor action film can call this creation my tongue does not turn.

This is exactly about “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.” Almost three hours about nothing, with a sluggish, sluggish and primitive plot and at the very end, the entire tractor is traditionally diluted with a hard and bloody thrashing in the style of Tarantino.

The main roles are performed by Brad Pete and Leonardo DiCaprio, but the dullness and scarcity of the plot do not save even such handsome people, neither their cuteness nor their skill of the game. I watched with great pleasure, a great movie. Characteristically, with a considerable duration, it looks easy, perhaps because the atmosphere is pleasant and the characters are cute. Not a fan of classical Hollywood cinema and in general of that era, but Tarantino very talentedly presented it all, along the way he was imbued with his love, all these landscapes, signs and other attributes, and felt this very atmosphere. At the same time, I knew about the “family” of Manson and specifically about the fate of Sharon Tate, this story always caused unpleasant emotions, so the film in some places was great. And that's why I especially liked the ending! It's a catharsis of justice.
All actors are good, DiCaprio is just wonderful. But Pitt is still the coolest. It seems not the most positive character (a murky story with his wife, the obvious presence of hot-tempered and desperate cockroaches in his head) - but what charisma! The scene with the wheel is brilliant, and the finale is mostly his personal performance.
One of the best films of the maestro, along with "Dogs" and "Reading".

Tarantino made another movie. Calm, thoughtful, realistic. Beautiful. Infused with the zeitgeist.
