You will never part with your music. It doesn't matter what happens, because whenever you get in trouble, it's the only place you can run away and just endure. The movie August Rush.
After the distinct and accented musical component of the film "A Star Is Born" (the first debut work of Bradley Cooper) - the movie "Maestro" is a complete disappointment for those who know and were interested in the life and work of the great composer of the 20th century - Leonard Burstein.
The film turned out to be a cliché - walled in a solid lie - the double life of the composer and the obvious ambitious conceit of Cooper as a person. There is no emphasis on drama, which is characteristic of geniuses in principle. There is a good ratio of the color retro range to the transition of other colors, a few scenes from the point of view of camera work are good in the final piece, especially at the expense of Carey Mulligan, but in general from the director’s line and from the point of view of the script itself ... I do not see here the integrity and versatility.
I know that Spielberg wanted to make a biopic about the composer, I think he was much brighter and deeper in terms of the story frame.
The movie didn't work. And I do not see here the nomination for the “Oscar” on any structures of acting.
