I’m very skeptical of superheroics in general, and yes, for the most part, Marvel is a circus with horses, a parade of unrealistic expectations. I would sincerely be happy to give them high marks for at least every project, if they held the bar of quality, which they themselves set, and did not provoke self-contradiction, cranberries, kringe, necanon and propaganda. But this particular series looks like a masterpiece. Rather, the masterpieces are several scenes and turns, and everything else is either a lead to them, or ... garbage. That last one ruins everything. I would really give it a 10 or even a 12, but it would have taken a lot away. . .
- The titles last almost half a series.
- The first two episodes, unfortunately, must be endured. I understand that they are necessary for the general plot and disclosure of the topic, but ... with kringe situations, from the 50-60s – it is difficult.
“We’ve been fixing it for so many years, and then it worked itself,” I’ve seen it on Independence Day.
"Why am I sitting here with you, I want to see my wife?" - It's true! There are inserts where the characters are right in the middle of the action in some separate space sitting interview give and pour out the soul. Again, I understand that this is copying a stupid trick from a certain type of TV series, but it is so ridiculous and impossible. We have already seen that one Vision rushed to save the family, and now the second, having escaped from this scene. How's that? What's that? Wanda magic does that too? What place does this take in the semantic layer of what is happening?
- What happened to the beekeeper? I heard the version from a punched fan that in the city he became an ice creamer, but where and how it was... what ended... What episode was that in? I didn't see that.
- Towards the end, there are events resembling the Super Family. In my opinion, the presence of superpowers in children was superfluous, they just had to be children (well, they are still growing fast). Trying to empower children always leads to bewilderment and a clear punched Disney. For example, in my youth there was a series about a liquid metal girl with almost the same special effects as the T-1000. But it was childish. It's not necessary.
- My brother's theme was deliberately leaked to the toilet. If you do not know, there has long been such a movie theory that Wanda from this universe was left without a brother, and in the X universe there is Pietro without a sister, and therefore the authors must reunite them. Personally, I didn’t like this theory right away, I didn’t support it, so I don’t care. But I imagine what the adepts felt: they were given what they wanted to take away, cheat, drain the character and give him the disgusting name Stoak. It's the same trick that old bum Skywalker drinking green milk is waiting for. Why is this done? To humiliate the fans, of course. To point them to the place of the parasha. Remind me who's in charge. "You're not ordering us." Well, yeah, you can have that position if you make your own garage stool. But when you make a piece for the millions of people who pay you for it, you can try to treat it differently.
- Monica Rambo doesn't have to be here. Not just here, but in general. And it's not because she's black. Because she's fat, she's a copier, she's not a popular hero, and she doesn't have a meaningful story behind her. But yes, Marvel has been using movies from some heroes as a springboard for others since the time of HC 2. Each time it leaves the same impression that they need it, not us. Well, the Marvels came out with her and failed safely.
But despite all this, the most powerful emotional scenes cut into memory, and for them I want to forgive everything. The scene of creating your world, the scene of farewell. Those were some of the best, most sincere moments I've ever seen. That's so cool. This is where I believed the authors. I'm not iron. It was great, it was worth watching the whole series for. In general, I believe that the whole work from beginning to end can not be amazing, and such can only be individual moments. And if they succeeded here at this level, then the whole work took place. It is a pity that the rest of the content sticks logs.
And I really like that the ending of the series was remade (followed the news about the production). In the beginning, the rabbit was supposed to be Mephisto, and Dr. Strange was supposed to fly. Removing all this and replacing it with a more adequate confrontation between the two witches was a normal solution, albeit rather sterile and safe. Well, why the hell with the horns and why would Strange, like a machine god, just come and solve all the problems? In Thor 3, he did just that, draining an entire storyline in one minute. I am truly glad that the circus with horses was removed here and it was done normally.
P.S. For those of you who don’t understand why the show has such a strange title. First of all, the word "TeleVision" is played around here, but it's formed in her name, kind of like YouTube is formed from the concept of "you." So in short, it's her personal TV. And secondly, there is a tradition in American culture that we don’t understand: when there is a couple, friends mix their names as part of a joke to address the couple with this double name.
