As is often the case with Marvel movies, everything seems good as long as you watch it (well, it used to be). Well-cooked entertaining porridge according to verified recipes. But after 5 minutes after the end, impressions begin to quickly dissipate and the familiar awareness of deception, sloppyness and disappointment comes.
- At the end of the Spider Strange movie, he himself said that Parker would be forgotten as a result of the spell, including the wizard himself. Now Strange routinely talks about those events.
- Also in the post-credits scene, it was said that the problems with the multiverse were due to the spider spells. He's got nothing to do with it now.
- The hero puts the deceased in the roof of the house. You know how it smells? What kind of rot will flow from the roof to the top floor? Wong also says, "That's wrong." Of course it's wrong!
- One of the film's important settings is Strange's love for his ex, strong and undivided. Where did that come from? In the first part, they were emphasized by exes, who do not need each other much, but managed to maintain a companion relationship. It was an interesting find of a film that I liked (the turbulent romances are mentioned in every movie, and the fun exes are almost nowhere). And then suddenly, suffering love! Screenwriters would at least watch past parts.
- Wanda said she knew the name of America Chavez. But why did you have to admit right away that you were after her? I'd say she's dreamed about it many times. Strange would believe him, he's naive. No, I took it out.
Wanda's character is radically different from what we've seen in past movies and TV series. She's helped Ultron before, escaped house arrest, made the town dance to her tune, but now she's a complete monster. Yes, this is due to the fact that it is influenced by the black book, but it does not make it easier for the viewer, he does not accept this image, he does not recognize it.
Almost all of Sam Raimi’s villains suffer from the same thing: obsession. Gas, tentacles, father's ghost, symbiote. Now the book, i.e. he used his technique for the 5th time.
Wanda's motivation is to get the kids back. But for some reason not a husband. She only mentioned her vision in one sentence. But after all, he is alive again, right in this universe, even though he is in a bad state of mind. But she's not even trying to get him back, he's already gone.
- And if she wants her children from a parallel universe, why not find a universe where there are children and she died? The multiverse has everything. And she would be there. No, I went to war with myself...
- Why would she want Chavez? Sorcerers have other ways to travel the multiverse.
- In Kamar-Taja in all seriousness has its good-natured Minotaur. Yeah, if you google it, it turns out it's Rintra, he's been in comic books and has a biography of his own. But why not tell a simple viewer at least a couple of sentences? No, they offered to just take it as it is that we have a gobble here, understand what you want.
- Kamar Taj was shamefully leaked. And the whole scene looks very similar to the defeat of the temple in Shang Chi.
- Strange condemns a common man to mutate himself for 2 weeks for not liking the way he was robbed.
- Strange enters another universe and goes looking for another Strange, because he must be smarter and stronger. Then he goes to another one and looks for another. Man, why are you so insecure?
- Strange’s confrontation with himself was reduced to a short fan service, to a local scene with a local “boss”. It's not even for the movie, it's for the game.
- He fights with other people with magical notes. This is one of the most miserable and meaningless scenes in Marvel. In previous films, he turned reality and time, in the cartoon he caused nightmare monsters. Is there a note shootout here??? It's a scene from a ridiculous cartoon, Looney Tunes, it's not anything from an adequate movie. How did this thing pass quality control?
- The insertion of fan service heroes from another universe is made miserable, if only because they were all shamefully merged there. Local Captain Marvel just nailed a statue? Not too small for her? I'm tired of saying goodbye to Professor Xavier.
- For some reason, Marvel uses the same trick over and over again: the characters hope for some artifact or weapon, but eventually lose it in front of their noses or it turns out to be ineffective. In "Confrontation" the team was afraid of the awakening of super soldiers, but the villain himself leaked them. In Infinity War. Thor made himself a hex, but she didn't kill Thanos. Loki in his series sought the ship to escape from the doomed planet, but did not have time. Now the heroes were looking for a good book that was burned in front of them. The new type of MacGuffins is a wreck.
- The film does not live up to its title. First, Strange often runs in his film in second roles. Second, there is no multiverse here. Heroes have been in three, and for a movie with that name it's complete bullshit.
Good impressions were left only on some individual moments. Horror scenes with reflections, persecution and drifting are made very beautifully, gloomy, tasteful. Wanda's denouement is strong, emotional. The lesbians in this movie were killed. Finally, a good joke about "How do you feel?" But that's it. This is not a real film – this is a compilation of visuals, jokes, fights, fan service, cameo, all this is molded according to the established patterns of the corporation and once again brought a lot of money, but this is not a film, it does not feel either the idea or the author.
And especially for those who compare with the movie "Everything, everywhere and at once", supposedly that film is much better. That filthy, self-respecting man can't even watch. I slapped him when the guy seriously jumped his ass on the dandak to get super powers. There is no such thing here, and thank you.
