The first hour of the film causes some bewilderment and the question is, “Is this the movie?” It's a good shot, great camera work and music, but where's the writer, where's the mystery? Further, the perplexity changes to detective interest, the director plays with the viewer, confuses with details, moves further and further away from the solution to shock the final. As in "Get Out," the film's genre doesn't quite match what's claimed, which further confuses and adds to unpredictability. The key to the film is a 13-letter word. I don’t know why the movie has such a low rating. Fantasy fans waiting for flying saucers? Or don't you like blacks? You just can't cook them! The heroes of the film could be white, slavery (labor or sexual) exists in our time. Don’t get hung up on black people and see a good intriguing detective who knows how to surprise. And this is rare in our time.
