Where is the path of peace and goodness?
Mutual understanding and faith?
Everything repeats itself... And we need to understand.
We are not the first people on earth to be: She's dumped us before.
I feel like I'm tired of a bad virus.
A little more and the hour will come again.
To change the mood of the planet. I don't want to make it worse!
There's enough waves for all of us, with a head!
It's time to cleanse souls and minds.
It is time to warm our common home with love.
Anna Mikhailovna Ostrovsky
Recently, accompanied by the director, I was walking through a large primate lab. Along the long corridor, as far as the eye could see, there were chimpanzee cells. They sat there one at a time, two at a time, or three at a time, which is typical of such establishments (or ordinary zoos). As soon as we approached the nearest cage, two of its inhabitants bared their teeth and with enviable accuracy let a stream of saliva into us, immediately wetting the director’s light suit. Then they uttered a stakatto of short expletives echoing down the corridor, and they were immediately picked up and amplified by the voices of other chimpanzee prisoners, who certainly had not yet seen us until the whole corridor was literally filled with screams and the thud of shaking bars. The director told me that in such a situation, not only spitting can fly in us, and at his insistence we left. In my memory, shots of American films of the thirties and forties, filmed in huge and inhuman prisons, in which prisoners knocked their plates on the bars at the sight of a tyrant overseer, clearly surfaced. The chimpanzees in question are healthy and well fed. If they are “only” beasts, if they are animals that do not abstract, then my comparison is nothing more than sentimental folly. But chimpanzees can abstract. Like all other mammals, they are capable of profound experiences. They certainly did not commit any crime. So why are monkeys behind bars all over the civilized world, in almost every major city? I don’t expect an answer to my question, but I think it’s definitely worth asking.

The hummingbird is the only bird in the world that can fly forward with its back. However, these birds are also notable for being able to track the passage of time. We humans feel when twenty minutes have passed. These birds, too.

The people who live after us are in some sense our children. You see, we leave them a whole planet. We have to make the Earth comfortable for them. Comfortable, clean. It's important! And it would take me a lifetime, even if it were infinite.

The Earth we all share is not just a rock flying through space, but a living, caring being. She cares about us; she deserves our care in return.

In any war, battles are replaced by lulls. There may come a day when we lose faith, a day when our allies will turn against us. But the day we abandon this planet and the people who live on it will never come.

Superb documentary. What is fascinating is that at the end of each series, they tell how they were filmed. A lot of hard work. I broke the movie into two nights and watched it. Look at you, too, and it’s amazing again. Very cool. Thanks. I recommend everyone to watch.🤗
