If you like Soviet (as well as North Korean and Chinese) patriotic films, this is your movie. In the best traditions of the Korean "Wolmido Island", the Chinese "Sacrifice" and "In the name of honor" (aka "Signal to retreat"). One mention that the American division once fought in Siberia on the side of the whites, enough that a significant part of the audience from the CIS countries hated the Yankees with all their heart. If you look at the directors, then everything falls into place, because real icons of Chinese cinema were staged. It's a pity that Jackie Woo went completely "scored" on martial arts, well, come on. That's not the movie. Another disadvantage of the picture is timekeeping, but in patriotic cinema this, apparently, is not considered a minus. And a small note: the brother of the main character was recorded in the avant-garde company under number 667, and at the end of the film suddenly became number 677. At the end of the day, it's all right, nitpicking.
