So I keep watching old movies. This time it's Claude Sote's film Cesar and Rosalie, 1972. Starring Eve Montane, Romy Schneider and Sami Fre. Cesar (Yves Montana) and Rosalie (Romy Schneider) live in a free marriage, calmly and happily, Rosalie is divorced, she has a young daughter. Her no longer a young mother is going to marry again and invites David to the wedding ceremony - Rosalie's former lover, whom she once met at the same time with her husband and who, in her words, gave her to marry him, he went to work abroad, and now returned. But Rosalie did not forget David, nor did he forget her. This trio is having a difficult time. They sometimes do strange and rash things, Rosalie goes to David, then returns to Cesar. Eventually, in a fit of desperation, Cesar invites David to his home, after which Rosalie leaves them both, and the two become friends. The end of the film raises the question, what happens next? I can’t say that the characters of the film caused me sympathy, but the actors play well. And in life, as I know from my own experience, everything happens.
